How to play Rummy

2–6 Players · Make Sequences & Sets, Then Declare

Goal

Arrange your 13 cards into valid groups and declare before anyone else. When someone declares, everyone else scores the points still loose in their hand — lowest score wins, the declarer gets zero. No gambling.

The deal

2–6 players; the deck count grows with the table. Each of you gets 13 cards. One card is turned up — its rank becomes the wild Joker (with the printed jokers). The rest is the face-down stock; one card starts the discard pile.

Draw & discard

On your turn draw one card — from the stock (unknown) or the top of the discard (known) — then discard one. Tap the pile to draw, tap a card to throw it. The app keeps your hand sorted into groups for you.

Sequences & sets

A sequence is 3+ cards of the same suit in a row (♠5-6-7). A set is 3–4 of the same rank in different suits. Jokers stand in for any card. You need at least two sequences, and one must be PURE (no joker).

Declaring

When your 13 cards form valid groups (two sequences incl. one pure, the rest sequences/sets), the Declare button lights up. Declare to win.
